Fewer things light up that childlike sense of wonder, especially in this season, more than Christmas lights.
Growing up, anytime we were driving anywhere during the holidays, my sister and I would press our noses to the car windows and call out CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ON MY SIDE! anytime we spotted a decorated house.
Last night, as we were driving, there was an incredible display on Chase’s side. An electric wonderland. Impossible to miss. A quick google search revealed that it was Christmas in Color, a light show at the Bandimere Speedway. 1.5 million lights synchronized to your favorite holiday tunes.
A little more searching revealed that tickets were available.
So we went.
And wow.
They promised an immersive Christmas experience like nothing you’d ever seen. And they delivered.
We were pressed up against the glass. Hanging out the windows. Eyes wide and full of wonder. It was dazzling. Even without the 3D glasses.
I can’t exactly immerse you, but I took a handful of photos and one (accidentally slow motion) video that I hope will light you up today.
